Editor basics

Undo

Undo takes back the last change made to a playlist, so you can edit without being overly careful. Press it again to go further back: the last 20 changes of the last 7 days are kept. Follow these steps to take back a change.

Steps

  1. Find the button: Look in the top bar of the editor, left of New and Tools. Undo only shows when there is something to take back.
  2. See what it undoes: Point at Undo. The hint names the change it takes back, for example Undo: Fix names on 3 channels.
  3. Undo: Click Undo, or press Ctrl+Z. A message says how many items were put back, and the grid shows them as they were. Click again to take back the change before it.
  4. Bring it back (optional): Click Redo, or press Ctrl+Shift+Z, to bring back what you took back. Redo works until you make a new change.
  5. Look before you undo (optional): Click the clock icon next to Undo. A list shows the last changes. Click the ⓘ next to one: a window lists every channel and group it changed, with the old value and the new one. Click Undo this there, or close the window to keep the change.
  6. Go back several steps at once (optional): In the same list, click a change to take back everything up to and including it.
