Guide time shift
Sometimes a channel's guide runs a few hours early or late compared with what is on screen. The usual case is a "+1" or "+2" channel, which shows the same programmes an hour or two later than the main channel but uses the main channel's guide. Shift moves that channel's guide by whole hours, for every customer. Follow these steps to shift a channel's guide.
Steps
- Open the TV guide tab: Open Live TV and click the TV guide tab.
- Open the channel: Click the channel in the list. Its panel opens on the right.
- Set the shift: Type the number of hours in Shift, at the top of the panel. Example:
1for a "+1" channel,-2for a guide that runs two hours late.

- Save: Press Enter or click outside the field. The shift saves on its own.
- Check it: Now and Up next in the panel move by the same number of hours. Compare them with what the channel shows.
The options
- 0: The guide is shown as it is. This is right for most channels.
- 1 to 23: The guide runs that many hours later. Example:
2for "Premiere Cinema +2". - -1 to -23: The guide runs that many hours earlier.
Good to know
- Map guide sets the shift for you when a channel name carries "+1", "+2" and so on, as long as the channel's shift is still 0. A shift you typed yourself is never replaced.
- Catch-up follows the shifted guide. A replay starts at the programme your customer picked in it. More in Catch-up.
- The shift is for everyone who watches the channel. When only one customer sees the guide hours off, the cause is their player, not the channel. Fix it for that customer with Guide clock. More in Guide clock.
- When all channels of one country guide are off by the same hours, check the time zone of the customer's device first. The guide itself carries the right times.
