Account & support FAQ

Q: I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page and follow the email M3UTool sends to your address. If you are still signed in somewhere, you can also change it under Account. More in Your account.

Q: What happens to my customers if my plan runs out?

When your paid period ends without a payment, you get 14 days to pay, and everything keeps working. If the time runs out, your plan ends: you can still sign in, but your customers cannot watch until you pick a plan again. Nothing is deleted. More in Plan and billing.

Q: Can I change my plan later?

Yes. Move the sliders up under Plan & billing: Upgrade now costs only the difference for the days you have left, and your end date stays. A smaller size starts with your next paid period.

Q: I need more customers than my plan allows. What can I do?

Move the Customers slider up under Plan & billing, or open a support ticket and ask for a custom plan. The Add button under Customers is greyed out while you are at your limit.

The apps take new branding on their next start, or at once when an activation code is used. A branded app you built needs a Rebuild app before new installs show the new name or logo. More in Branding and custom domain.

Q: Do I need my own domain?

Not at the start. It makes your links look like your own service, and once you have more than a set number of customers, it is required. The Custom domain section warns you well before that. More in Branding and custom domain.

Q: How fast does support answer?

The team answers in your ticket, and you get a Discord message too if you connected Discord. Add screenshots and name the playlist and channels, so the team can look straight away. More in Support tickets.

Q: I closed an announcement by mistake. Can I see it again?

Not in the same browser. It shows again in another browser, and the next announcement shows everywhere. More in Announcements.
